Feathers was actually created by the genius film crew at our High School for Performing Arts. It is a student film that has been making the film festival circuit. The directors and cinematographers were all part of the film dept and they should all be very proud of this accomplishment. I was a student of the drama department and was asked along with Lindsay Nyman who plays my girlfriend to be a part of the project. It was a serious almost dark film and I think Lindsay did a great job portraying the grieving Leyla. Most of our scenes were shot in Central Park in the month of June, what could be more perfect?

Shooting a short and one that is a student work is cool because there is a real intimacy among the crew and cast. It was our last project before graduation and it was so laid back and cool.

The next screening is at the Tribeca Cinemas in November. This will be the first time I will see it on the big screen as I was away for the others. It should be fun.

If there is a future for this film, I have a song or two in mind that would be perfect for the score!!
